MIFFLINBURG – Two people from Kreamer have been arrested in a shaken baby case from Snyder County.
Middleburg police investigated the case and announced the arrests of 28-year-old Jennifer Lachat of Kreamer, and 34-year-old Gregory Lachat. The two reportedly admitted shaking the injured 9-month-old on two occasions.
Officers say the crime was discovered when police were called to Geisinger October 27 because of a child suffering seizures, brain bleeds and retinal bleeding.
The two are charged with aggravated assault of a child, endangering the welfare of a child and other charges, they are in jail, $100,000 bail.
