Shots Fired On Franklin Street in Shamokin
SHAMOKIN – Police are looking for a suspect involved in a shooting that took place Thursday evening on Franklin Street in Shamokin. Shamokin police tell us they got the report of gunfire around 7:36pm, and they found spent shell casings and bullet holes in several houses. Officers say no one was injured in the shooting and the shooter’s identity is unknown.
Police do say they gathered evidence at the scene and some video footage. Based on the video, police say their suspect is a black male, 5’10 to 6’ tall, 140 to 160 pounds and wearing all black.
The suspect on North of Franklin Street, Chestnut Street, Shamokin Street, through a yard and on Rock Street.
The Police Department asks if anyone has any information about leads to a suspect to call the Shamokin Police Department at 570-648-5708. There was similar gunfire on Franklin Street in Shamokin last Friday.
