WASHINGTON, D.C.— Congressman Dan Meuser (PA-09) today outlined the Biden Administration’s disastrous Build Back Better Agenda that President Biden attempted to sell in Scranton, Pennsylvania yesterday, and will again tonight on his CNN Town Hall.
“President Biden tried to tell Pennsylvanians that his Build Back Broke agenda will create jobs, cut taxes, and help working families. This is far from reality. If passed, President Biden’s $3.5 trillion wasteful spending package will drastically increase the cost of living, drive gas and energy prices higher, stunt Main Street growth, and hinder job creation. It is simple, Pennsylvanians cannot afford President Biden’s big government, tax and spend agenda. - It will grant AMNESTY to 10 million illegal immigrants, including DACA recipients and TPS recipients.
- It will RASIE TAXES on small businesses, increasing the corporate tax rate to the third highest corporate rate in the world.
- It will RAISE PRICES for consumers, as 30% of the impact of a higher corporate tax falls on consumers with higher prices on all goods.
- It will GROW GOVERNMENT by hiring 87,000 new IRS agents to audit more taxpayers and invade the privacy of Americans’ personal bank accounts.
- And create a million person Civilian Climate Corps.
