Chief Encouragement Officer Shares Tips on Moving Forward

Life Coach Offers Tips for Getting Out of Autopilot

SUNBURY – What’s holding you back? . . . Speaker, writer, mentor and certified coach Diane Weller offers some encouragement for taking our lives to the next level.

She says it’s easy to get stuck in a rut, “Sometimes it’s just quite simply the result of falling into autopilot – getting up every morning, same routine, just responding to the norm of family, work and life.”

Weller says there are four major ways we hold ourselves back in life. She labeled self-sabotage as the granddaddy of them all, “It’s about learning to respond to life’s challenges with curiosity, calm, creativity, empathy and clear-headed action versus negative emotions like self-doubt, guilt, stress, shame or resentment.”

Weller points to fear as another roadblock, “A quite simple way to fight fear is with information. Hear somebody else’s story of how they went about it. Get the tools and resources you need. This will eliminate your fear.”

The self-proclaimed Chief Encouragement Officer also suggests capitalizing on our innate abilities to build self-confidence and simply living the way we want to, rather than trying to live up to everyone else’s expectations.
