ORWIGSBURG — A Pottsville man is facing several charges including first and third degree murder after a road rage homicide in Schuylkill County Monday. State troopers say 29-year-old Tamiir Witted was arraigned in district court late Monday evening and was jailed in the Schuylkill County Prison without bail.
Troopers say 38-year-old George Marcincin of Orwigsburg was stabbed to death by Witten after the two got in an argument along Route 61 in the Orwigsburg area. The incident happened about two pm, troopers say Witted stabbed the victim multiple times. Witted had left the scene upon police arrival, but was taken into custody after a short pursuit by Orwigsburg police.
