MILTON – A tricycle obstacle course, a one mile run or walk, and a silent auction are just a few of the activities at the Milton YMCA this week. It’s all part of the 22nd annual Spring Fling in Milton Friday and Saturday. Friday features a bicycle stunt show with Chris Clark and the run and walk takes place on Saturday.
Ron Marshall, executive director of the Milton YMCA says Spring Fling will benefit their financial assistance program, “Last year the Milton Y gave out over $80,000 in financial assistance for potential members to join our facility and also for programming. It’s a worthwhile event and we are hoping that some people can come out and support us this year.”
Marshall said many people look forward to the silent auction and this year there is a basket theme, with baskets for the whole family to choose from.
