LEWISBURG — The Lewisburg Arts Festival is this weekend.
The Lewisburg Arts Council holds its outdoor festival Saturday from 9am to 4pm rain or shine. This year’s event will be six blocks long in downtown Lewisburg. It will feature the work of more than 100 artists showcasing a variety of media, from ceramics and jewelry to metal and wood.
Additionally, they’ll be food, live performances at two entertainment venues, and lots of information and activities. The Arts Council says they’ll have a petting zoo, balloon art, and a Handmade Parade Maker Tent. Local nonprofits will be present again as well.
For easy access to the Festival, attendees can use the free shuttle service from 81 Hafer Road, running from 8:30am to 4pm, or bike to the event and take advantage of multiple bike racks throughout the area. More at LewisburgArtsCouncil.org
