CARLISLE – A candidate for the 11th Congressional District is calling out the current U.S. Congress during his campaign announcement. State house member Steve Bloom (R-199th, Carlisle) of Carlisle announced his candidacy today for the 11th Congressional seat currently held by Cong. Lou Barletta (R-11th, Hazelton).
Bloom released a campaign video challenging GOP congressional leaders to deliver on promises made during last November’s presidential election. He says the American people are not getting what they voted for from this “cowardly Congress.”
Since his first election, Bloom’s voting record has received high marks from various organizations. Those include the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, the National Rifle Association, National Federation of Independent Business, and the American Conservative Union. (Matt Catrillo)
