MONTOURSVILLE—A vehicle fire has closed a portion of Interstate 180 eastbound in Lycoming County. PennDOT is advising that I-180 eastbound is closed between Fairfield Road and Lycoming Mall Road due to a vehicle fire. Lycoming County Communications says a truck hauling hay caught fire. No word on how the fire started.
PennDOT has a detour in place using Fairfield Road, Lycoming Drive, and Lycoming Mall Road. We will update you on this story when more information becomes available.
