DANVILLE — The head of the Susquehanna Valley Community Education Project says they are doing a careful examination of the Saints Cyril and Methodius site in Danville as a possible site for classes. Additionally, they are discussing some other key locations for the new community college. Dr. Lenaire Ahlum, executive director of the project, told us they are diligently moving forward.
“We are keeping an eye on the path forward, we have had a deliberate and steady march toward educational excellence in our valley,” she said. The SVCEP is eyeing the St. Cyril’s site with the help of their partner, Marywood University. Dr. Ahlum said they see the potential for health professionals in-training to ally with Geisinger.
