NORTHUMBERLAND – A long-time employee of The Northumberland National Bank will be named its new president and CEO. The bank announced Wednesday, J. Todd Troxell will be named president and CEO starting January 1. He’s currently serving as the bank’s president and COO.
The bank says the move is part of a planned succession. Troxell also currently serves on the bank’s board of directors.
The bank says J. Donald Steele, Jr. — Northumberland National Bank’s chair and CEO — will continue to serve as chairman of both the boards of directors of the bank and the holding company, after Troxell becomes bank CEO.
Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Mark Ritter says the changes are designed to ensure a smooth transition.
Troxell is a lifelong Selinsgrove area resident and joined Norry Bank in 1998, opening the bank’s first branch office.
