NORTHUMBERLAND – A time honored toy drive is underway once again in our region. The Martin Concini toy drive is underway in Northumberland. Initiated in 1990, the late police chief Martin Concini Jr. starting helping families with a toy drive. Chief Concini died in 1992, but the toy drive lives on. Today Northumberland, Point Township and Sunbury police are involved in the toy drive, and they say the gifts go to families in many communities around here. You can drop off a new, unwrapped toy, at Surplus Outlet, Northumberland National Bank, Priestley Forsyth Library or at the police station on Orange Street.
