State Police Running Child Safety Seat Checkpoints

MONTOURSVILLE – State police are holding some additional child passenger safety seat checkpoints starting November 14 thru the 27.

They say the goal is to increase child safety seat and safety belt usage rates across Pennsylvania.  Parents can schedule an appointment at their local state police station.

State police ask parents to bring the safety seat, vehicle manual, and child safety seat instructions. They say the checks should only last for 30 minutes per seat.

If parents have any questions they should call their local PSP barracks.
