MILTON – Several volunteer fire crews are responded to a two-alarm structure fire at Milton Developmental Services. According to emergency communications, the fire was reported around noon Friday. A third alarm had been called minutes later, but once more crews arrived, dispatch was downgraded to two alarms.
Communications say the fire appears to have started in the basement of the building.
No injuries were reported and crews cleared the scene just after 2 p.m. Friday.
Milton Developmental Services is a personal boarding home located at 60 Walnut Street in Milton.
