Sen. Gordner: Looking For Homeowners Hurt By Pandemic

HARRISBURG –  State Senator John R. Gordner (R-27, Berwick) says a new homeowner’s pandemic assistance plan will be put into effect soon with applications starting to be taken on February 1.

The American Rescue Plan channel funding to the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency for a Pennsylvania Homeowner’s Assistance Fund. Senator Gordner says the funding is to help stave off COVID related mortgage delinquencies, foreclosures and loss of utilities. He says the new program will help mitigate financial hardships for eligible homeowners in the wake of COVID-19.
