SUNBURY – The missing minks in the Sunbury area is back in the news. A national group, the Fur Commission USA, is offering a $16,000 reward for whomever released a reported 8,000 mink from the Stahl Fur Farm in September. The vandals may have been animal rights activists.
The Fur industry and advocacy group, and others, are offering the reward to catch the animal activists who cut a hole in the fence and released the animals. The farmers, Unified Sports of Pennsylvania, are also offering rewards, so the total is above $20,000.
