Report: Fired Geisinger Employees Preliminary Injunction Denied

WILLIAMSPORT – A federal judge has refused to issue a preliminary injunction that would prevent Geisinger from terminating more than 100 employees who are unvaccinated against COVID-19.

According to PennLive, U.S Middle District Judge Matthew Brann ruled the employees claims were more focused on science, than on religious discrimination.

PennLive reports Brann said the employees take on the ‘science’ is irrelevant and they ‘failed to demonstrate a right for an injunction.’

Geisinger now requires all employees be fully vaccinated, or exempt. Some exempted workers must be COVID tested twice a week – or be considered to have voluntarily resigned.
