PennDOT extends expiration dates on some licenses and permits

 

HARRISBURG – Expiration dates for products such as Commercial Drivers Licenses and learner’s permits are being extended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. PennDOT said effective as of September 30, expiration dates for commercial driver licenses and learner’s permits scheduled to expire from March 16 through November 29 are extended through December 31.

The expiration date of a Hazardous Materials Endorsement for an individual who’s a Pennsylvania-licenses commercial driver’s license holder and who held a valid, unexpired HME with a determination of no security threat on or after Mach 6 is extended until October 29.

Expiration extension deadlines on non-commercial driver license, photo ID cards, learner’s permits and camera cards expired August 31.
