PA National Guard ready to support law enforcement during protests

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP – The Pennsylvania National Guard says it’s ready to help local law enforcement in keeping order during protests over the death of George Floyd. The PA National Guard says in a release Monday it has placed over 600 Guardsmen on state active duty.


The Guard units are able to conduct operations in support of civil authorities to enhance law enforcement’s ability to provide continued public safety and critical infrastructure security.
