Overlook Man Jailed for Setting His House on Fire

The Ralpho Township Police Department says a man has been charged for intentionally setting fire to his home on Thursday, in Northumberland County.

According to Ralpho Township Police, on Thursday, March 28, an officer observed a house fire at 133 Red Hill Lane in the Overlook area of Ralpho Township.  Police say after calling in the fire, officers contacted the homeowner, identified as James Terzakos, who was sitting in a chair in the driveway of the home.

Investigators say Terzakos intentionally ignited the fire inside the home, causing extensive damage.  Ralpho Township Police say Terzakos was taken into custody and charged with reckless endangering, risking a catastrophe, arson, and criminal mischief.  According to law enforcement, Terzakos was arraigned and remanded to the Northumberland County Jail, for being unable to $300,000 bail.
