NORTHUMBERLAND — The North Shore Railroad will honor veterans with its annual Veterans Day Salute on Monday at 11am. They say work will pause across the entire railroad system for one minute of silence, followed by a long horn blast from the locomotives.
The activity is a tribute to U.S. military service members. North Shore says the public is invited to join in by using the moment to pay respects in person or reflect wherever they may be during this solemn recognition of our nation’s heroes.
