Montandon Man Charged for Aggravated Assault in Lebanon

MONTANDON — A Montandon man is jailed facing aggravated assault charges after Lebanon police say the 22-year-old fired a weapon that grazed another person’s head during an altercation inside a Family Dollar.  The Daily Item reports that Octavius Omar Burrus, was arrested on March 26 after Lebanon police say they were dispatched to a Family Dollar store in Lebanon for a shooting.  When police arrived, a perimeter around the store was set up and after some time officers allege Burrus exited the store and was taken into custody.  The alleged male victim also exited the store and according to police had injuries to his head and hands.  The alleged victim was transported to Penn State University Hershey Medical Center in Hershey for the injuries.   Burrus also faces a felony charge of firearms not to be carried without a license and he will appear in court at a later date.  Bail was set at 500-thousand dollars.
