WASHINGTON — NorthcentralPA.com is reporting… Two men were charged after police pulled them over in Montour County and found loaded firearms and illegally killed white-tail deer. State police stopped a vehicle for speeding shortly after 6 a.m. on Jan. 1 near Washingtonville.
They found out the driver, 20-year-old Raymond Poust Jr., Williamsport, possessed a firearm illegally and he was transporting several white-tail deer which were hunted and killed illegally. A passenger in the vehicle, 38-year-old Joshua Mosteller Muncy, also possessed firearms which he was prohibited to carry, according to police.
Police charged Poust with a felony count of firearms not to be possessed without a license, misdemeanor counts and summary unlawful killing or taking of big game, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and related charges. Mosteller was charged with felony possession of a firearm prohibited and summary carrying a loaded weapon.
