Lewisburg Area Receives $1.2 Million for Signals

LEWISBURG — Three Union County traffic signal projects will receive about $1.2 million through PennDOT’s Green Light-Go program. The work will focus on busy Route 15 intersections in the Lewisburg area.

Lewisburg Borough received about $445,000 for Route 15 and Saint Mary Street. Another $512,000 will modernize the signal at Route 15 and Buffalo Road.

East Buffalo Township received nearly $200,000 for upgrades at Route 15 and Market Street and Saint Mary Street. PennDOT says the projects are designed to improve safety, reduce congestion and keep traffic moving efficiently.
