Jordan Deibler Launches ‘Youngest’ State Representative Campaign

Deibler Announces Candidacy for ‘Youngest’ State Representative

SUNBURY – A young Valley native is launching a campaign for state representative in the 108th legislative district, hoping to become the youngest state lawmaker in Pennsylvania’s history. 20-year-old Jordan Deibler announced his Republican candidacy for state representative, born in Montour County and raised in Northumberland County.

His campaign is contingent on the current house member in that district, resigning to become state senator. If the election for the position coincides with the May 16 Primary, Deibler will be 21-years-old.

Deibler says he’s running to give back to his community. He also says the area is losing his generation, strangled by former Governor Tom Wolf’s COVID lockdown measures.

Deibler also wants to give a lesson of fiscal responsibility in Harrisburg, meet unmet needs of the community and law enforcement in our area, and says schools are falling behind.

Deibler says even though he’s young, he’s experienced in politics and small business – his family owns Susquehanna Valley Limousine. He also credits current State Representative and State Senatorial Candidate Lynda Schlegel Culver and former U.S. Congressman Fred Keller as ‘great mentors.
