NORTHUMBERLAND – A Girl Scout building that had fallen into disrepair is renovated and ready for a grand re-opening. After a long process of donations and construction, the Northumberland Little House will open to the public this weekend.
The leader of the restoration process, Barbara Kistner, sees many uses for the Little House in the Northumberland community, “I’m hoping to have art shows on Pineknotter Day, and it is also a great place you can rent to throw a party.”
There will be an open house this weekend for the public to see the product of their generous donations. Kistner invites all to attend, “It’s going to be April 2nd and 3rd from 2-4pm. And I want the Boy Scouts to come; maybe they will be interested in holding some function here.”
