Gun Threats Lead to an Arrest in Sunbury

SUNBURY – Sunbury police were called to a convenience store Thursday morning for a man with a gun.  Police say Ramon Martir Jr. pulled into the 7-11 on North Fourth Street at 8:20 to confront another man.  After a verbal argument, police say Martir pulled a gun out while seated in his vehicle an pointed the gun at the other man and threatened him.  Sunbury police obtained a search warrant for Martir’s home in the 100 block of South Fourth Street and Martir was arrested.  The handgun was located along with large capacity magazines inside the home. Also a large amount of illegal drugs were confiscated.
