Guilty Plea in a Stabbing Case in Northumberland County

MOUNT CARMEL – The Daily Item reports a Mount Carmel man pleaded guilty to felony aggravated assault for a stabbing in January of 2022.  45-year-old Adam Danaher faces 72 to 90 months in state prison when he is sentenced.  The Daily Item reports Danaher fought with another man and then stabbed him in the torso and the mouth.  The victim was treated at Geisinger Shamokin Hospital.  Police were able to follow a blood trail to Danaher’s residence.  He fled the residence but was eventually taken into custody.
