COAL TOWNSHIP – Four people have been charged with felony kidnapping and aggravated assault charges after an incident in Coal Township March 12.
Coal Township Police say charged are 20-year-old Silas Latorre, 21-year-old William Latorre, and 24-year-old Brandon Colon, all of Coal Township, and 26-year-old Rasha Williams of Shamokin. Coal Township officers say charges were filed Tuesday but all four suspects are still wanted and arrest warrants have been issued.
Officers say the suspects struck a 16-year-old male victim with a handgun while he was asleep on a sofa, then trapped him and another victim in order to steal his phone. Officers say the 16-year-old suffered a laceration to the head.
The incident is still under investigation.
