COAL TOWNSHIP — The News Item reports… Fire units from several municipalities were called out just before 5 p.m. Saturday to a two-alarm fire at 1400 Pulaski Ave. According to a 911 dispatch, all residents were out of the house after reporting flames in the basement and first floor.
News Item reports, there were no reported injuries. Fire police detoured traffic around the area of the fire, where fire trucks blocked streets. Among those responding were units from Coal Township, Shamokin, Kulpmont, Overlook Fire Co. in Ralpho Township, as well as Area Services ambulance.
