Farm Plast Expansion Bringing New Jobs To Muncy

MUNCY — A major plastics manufacturer is creating 69 new jobs in Lycoming County as it opens a facility in Muncy Township. State Senator Gene Yaw says Farm Plast will renovate a long-vacant 200,000-square-foot building, giving new life to an underused industrial site. Sen. Yaw he’s grateful for all of the state’s growing industries.  He says the company’s move brings a strong employer to the region, with plans to boost production and add new product lines. Farm Plast specializes in food-grade storage containers and recycles millions of pounds of plastic each year.
