Doctor will receive leadership award from EconomicsPennsylvania

Dr. John PaganaSUNBURY – One of the area’s most widely respected family physicians will receive the Adam Smith Award for Distinguished Leadership from EconomicsPennsylvania.  Dr. John Pagana will receive the award at a luncheon in his honor on April 14.

 

Dr. Pagana established his family practice in Sunbury in 1975.  He also serves as Volunteer Medical Director at A Community Clinic in Sunbury, a mentor to Pre-Med students at Bucknell University and a clinical instructor.  Dr. Pagana is also involved in a number of community organizations including advisory boards for physical education and drug and alcohol abuse.   He is also active at his church St. Pius X, serving as leader of Community Bible Study and board member of the Susquehanna Valley Community Bible Study.

 

The Adam Smith Award for Distinguished Leadership is presented to an individual in recognition of their support and commitment to the mission and vision of EconomicsPennsylvania and the education programs they provide for teachers and students.  Last year’s recipient was State Representative Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-108th, Sunbury).
