The Selinsgrove VFW is holding a Clam Bake on June 12th from Noon to 4 pm. Tickets in advance are $25.00 and $35.00 the day of the event. Drinks will be included as well as other food. The public is invited.

The library provides the Legos while the kids provide the imagination. All materials must stay at the library, so bring a camera to capture your creations. Legos are cleaned after each session. Experiment with light and explore the ways that light interacts with objects to create shadows, reflections, and more. This program is a collaboration with the Lewisburg Children’s museum. For ages 2-6.  Held at the Mifflinburg Community Park, North 5th Street.

Explore life in the ancient seas 70 million years ago. Mike & Roberta Straka introduce participants to Molly the Mosasaur, a 15-foot ancient undersea reptile, discovered by their team. Meet other creatures that lived with Molly including an “X” fish and a baby crocodile. The program features a fun-filled game show with audience participation, a touch of magic, and show & tell with rare fossils, including prehistoric bugs. After the show, children will dig for fossils. For kids K-8.
