New Old Trail bridge
HUMMELS WHARF — Now open is a busy connector short cut, the Old Trail, in Monroe Township, Snyder County, The new bridge open Friday evening after construction was completed.
The Old Trail was closed most of the summer and early fall. PennDOT and a private contractor, along with utility crews, say they have more work to do. Final paving will take place next spring.
