Boating Season Wraps Up on the Susquehanna River

SUNBURY – Boating season will soon be over on the Susquehanna River at Shikellamy State Park.  Boating season will end on October 1^st, with the deflation of the Adam T. Bower Memorial Dam.  Those boaters who have a slip at the marina are required to remove their boats by sunset on October 1.  The dam will then be deflated, which takes about two weeks.  The park docks are removed during that time.
