Gasbuddy Report: State, National Gas Prices Go Down
HARRISBURG – Gasoline prices across Pennsylvania and nationally went down this week, but this drop may not last long.
Gasbuddy reported Monday, state gas prices went down 1.3 cents per gallon and average $3.65 per gallon. Nationally, prices at the pump fell by 3.9 cents per gallon and average $3.51 per gallon.
Gasbuddy says while averages drifted lower last week, the drop may be temporary because an agreement the OPEC+ agreed on Sunday for more cuts to oil production. As a result gas prices may increase slightly as soon as the mid-week, but Gasbuddy does not think motorists should worry, prices they predict, won’t rise much.
The national average price of diesel continued dropping, falling 3.4 cents per gallon in the past week and averages $3.88 per gallon.
