14-Year-old Charged After Crash in Union County
ALLENWOOD – A 14-year-old from upstate New York was charged after crashing and overturning a vehicle he was driving on Route 15 in Union County last weekend.
After the midday crash in Gregg Township Sunday, state police say the teen was taken to Evangelical Community Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries. Troopers say the boy was wearing a seat belt. He’s been charged with not having a driver’s license.
Troopers say the 14-year-old was driving an SUV on Route 15, became distracted, failed to stay in his lane and drove off the road, up an embankment and the vehicle overturned.
