Sunbury Summer Kickoff: Free Concert, Pro-Wrestling, Fireworks
New Details for First Sunbury Summer Kickoff
SUNBURY – New details have been announced for the first annual Sunbury Summer Kickoff.
Sunbury Mayor Josh Brosious says the day will be highlighted by a free concert with three performances and fireworks, “We have Runaway Stroller starting off at 4 p.m., then we have Claudia Hoyser coming on and then to finish the night off, we have Jason Michael Carroll, and then after he’s done, we’re gonna have an awesome fireworks display to really bring the summer in.”
The event is June 3 from noon to 10 p.m. at Merle Phillips Riverfront Park.
The day will even include some pro-wrestling performances, “WWE, there’s some great performers coming, that’s gonna be a 2 p.m. and that’s gonna be down by the river as well. We did it a few years ago, and it was a huge success.”
There will also be food vendors, along with local wineries and breweries, and a kid’s zone, “We have Kozmo from Knoebels, we’re gonna have a bunch of games and different events for them to do the entire day, so there’s gonna be stuff for everybody of all ages.”
