DUI Checkpoint Results in Eight DUI Arrests
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY– A State Police DUI checkpoint in Northumberland County Friday night and Saturday morning resulted in several arrests.
State police say eight arrests were made between late Friday night and early Saturday morning. Troopers don’t disclose the location of the checkpoint aside from taking place somewhere a Northumberland County roadway.
State Police say they stopped and checked about seventy-five vehicles; they netted two DUIs with drug possession, one ‘under the influence of drugs, two DUI alcohol arrests, and three drug possession arrests.
The checkpoint was in operation between 10 p.m. on Friday and 3 a.m. on Saturday.
