State Approves Funding to Improve a Wastewater Plant
State Representatives get Funding for Local Project
HARRISBURG — A number of local projects will receive some state funding.
The state says it will grant $258,000 for an upgrade of a wastewater treatment plant in Perry Township, Snyder County. The funding will help to initiate the planning, design and permitting of needed upgrades and replacements to the wastewater treatment plant.
The funding was announced by State Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27th, Sunbury) and State Representative David Rowe (R-85th, Lewisburg). The representatives stated that the funding from the Local Share account, Rowe states that none of the funding will come from tax payer dollars
