SUNBURY – Last year’s Here. For Good. campaign had one of its highest totals, raising over $130,000. The Salvation Army says $138,509.21 was raised from the 2023 campaign, including online donations.
This comes after The Salvation Army raised its two highest totals in campaign history the previous two years, raising over $146,000 in 2021; its second highest total, and $147,000 in 2020; the highest total the campaign has ever had, which came during the height of the pandemic.
Organizers said they were extremely grateful for the generosity of the public, Degenstein Foundation and other donors. They said, while the total fell short of the $150,000 goal, the Salvation Army in Sunbury and Milton, provided toys, food, clothing and other gifts to more than 600 families in our region.
The Here. For Good. campaign is sponsored by Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation, The Daily Item and Mifflinburg Bank and Trust.
