LOCUST GAP — A home was damaged by another fire in Northumberland County Tuesday night. Northumberland County Communications tells us the blaze hit a home around 10:15pm on Railroad Street in Locust Gap, Mount Carmel Township. Witnesses said everyone got out of the home okay. The home was engulfed when first responders got on the scene. Mount Carmel Township, Mount Carmel, Shamokin, Kulpmont, Elysburg, and Overlook volunteers responded, along with crews from Columbia, Montour and Schuylkill County. No injuries were reported, the home was destroyed by the fire in Locust Gap.
