AccuWeather: Both Commutes to be Affected by Snow Wednesday

AccuWeather: Morning, Evening Commutes to be Affected by Wednesday Storm

SUNBURY – Expect both commutes to be affected by the next winter weather system heading for the Valley Wednesday, with 3-6 inches of snow expected, along with sleet and rain.

AccuWeather Meteorologist Jeff Nordeen says snow will first arrive in the area by 8 or 9 a.m., “So our morning commute is going to be the one that’s going to be affected, so plan for slippery travel and slow travel with this snow arriving, and then it’s going to continue throughout the day.”

Then around 4 p.m., Nordeen says the snow will change to sleet and rain to affect the evening commute, “As we go further into the evening, it changes to all rain in most of Pennsylvania, before we see the back end of this system into Thursday morning when it changes back to snow briefly, and then dries out, leaving us cloudy skies.”
