Turkey Trot Benefits Library and Lacrosse Team
MIFFLINBURG – The Mifflinburg Turkey Trot will return to Mifflinburg on thanksgiving. Organizers say this will be the eleventh year for the annual race and fun run.
The trot is November 25 and they say everyone is welcome to try to run with the turkey on Thanksgiving morning. The 5K run/walk begins at 9am at the Mifflinburg Community Park.
Organizers say the proceeds benefit the Herr Memorial Library and the Mifflinburg Area High School Boys Lacrosse Team. Participants can register online at runsignup.com/race/pa/mifflinburg/mifflinburgturkeytrot or by emailing mifflinburgturkeytrot@gmail.com.
Also…non-perishable food donations will be collected at the start of the race and donated to local food pantries.
