LEWISBURG – There is ongoing help for start-up entrepreneurs around here. Each month, the Bucknell University Small Business Development Center continues to hold the local version of what is called ‘1 Million Cups.’
Steve Stumbris is director of the Bucknell SBDC, “Each month, an early stage entrepreneur has an opportunity to share their story, including what their goals are and what challenges they are facing, and then we as a 1 Million Cups community gather to support them, to encourage them to share feedback with them and give them suggestions.”
At a recent 1 Million Cups session in Danville, PJ Harte of Danville presented his story about ‘PJ’s Street Eats which is his food cart and catering business, “We’re doing all kinds of events, we’re doing office catering…but the street vending is most fun.”
“You get to meet all kinds of people from all walks of life, there’s no one pinpoint market. The catering can go from anything from bringing the hotdog stand to a kid’s birthday party, to upscale cocktail parties,” Hart said.
