SUNBURY – One superload moved and another wide load is moving now, on Route 147 south of Sunbury. State police say a large load was delivered successfully to the Panda Hummel Power Station and now, an additional wide load is moving on Route 147 south of Sunbury.
No major problems were reported during the move. The so-called ‘superload’ was moved from Susquehanna Rail Works in Lower Augusta Township to the power plant at Hummels Station in Monroe Township, Snyder County. It weighs more than 700,000 pounds, is 204 feet long, 16 feet wide and 18 feet high.
