Fred Keller wins GOP nomination in 12th district US Congress

WILLIAMSPORT – A Valley state representative has received the GOP nomination for the U.S. 12th Congressional District. State Representative Fred Keller (R-85th, Kreamer) survived four rounds of voting of 14 candidates during yesterday’s meeting of Republican conferees to secure the nomination. Keller will face Democrat Marc Friedenberg in May’s special election to replace Tom Marino.


On his Twitter page, Keller says he thanks everyone for their support. He also thanked the conferees for their trust and support. Keller thanked former Congressman Marino for his service as well.
