Power outages improving for PPL customers across the Valley

UNDATED – PPL is working to restore power across the Valley. According to PPL’s outage map, as of 5:30pm Wednesday, over 2700 customers are without power in Columbia County with the majority of the outages being reported from the Berwick and Stillwater areas of the county. Estimated time of repair for those areas is Thursday afternoon.


There are still scattered power outages in Northumberland, Montour, Union, and Snyder counties. About 60 customers still remain without power in the Riverside area due to downed power lines.

The utility says they are working around the clock to restore electricity and they remind customers to let them know they don’t have power by calling 1-800-DIAL-PPL.
