PennDOT urged sober driving during Super Bowl weekend

SUNBURY  – The Pennsylvania Highway Safety Network, Geisinger Medical Center, and the Pennsylvania Department of  Transportation urged motorists to be safe drivers over the weekend.   They urged Super Bowl partiers to use designated drivers and to drive responsibly.

 

PennDOT says data shows there were 416 crashes resulting in 6 deaths in PA during last years’ Super Bowl. Drinking was suspected in over 50 of those crashes.
