Man arrested for threatening and breaking into victim’s home

WATSONTOWN – A Milton man is jailed after threatening a home and threatening a person in the home. Watsontown police tell us they were called to the 300 block of Elm Street in Watsontown for a report of a domestic disturbance.


Police say 32-year-old Caleb Landers broke into the home through a rear door and threatened the victim inside. Officers say Landers also made threats to harm police and retrieved a knife to do so. The victim was removed from the home unharmed and Landers was taken into custody.


Landers has been charged with felony counts of burglary, criminal trespass and aggravated assault and other misdemeanor charges. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Michael Diehl and committed to Northumberland County Prison at SCI-Coal Township in lieu of $100,000 cash bail.
